Storex designs and manufactures complete oxygen reduction systems. The systems are designed in accordance with European standard NEN-EN 16750 Fixed fire extinguishing systems – Oxygen reduction system – Design, installation, calculation, and maintenance.

Storex calculates the required nitrogen production capacity and advises on the application of the oxygen reduction system and the required gas tightness of the warehouse. Storex manufactures the nitrogen production installation in-house according to a unique and highly energy-efficient concept. The oxygen reduction system is installed, tested, started up, and explained to the technical staff by our own experienced professionals. The oxygen content in the warehouse is regulated using software developed in-house, which is used in thousands of installations. The system can be perfectly controlled and monitored remotely via an app and a cloud-based data management system, and all relevant data is stored and reported automatically. We offer 24/7 service and customized maintenance contracts.

The projects are checked for compliance with the EU standard NEN-EN 16750 and certified by an independent party.

1. Design and advice

2. VSA N2 generator

The heart of the Storex fire protection system consists of Vacuum Swing Adsorption (VSA) technology and a nitrogen generator (N2 generator). VSA technology works by removing oxygen from the air through an adsorption process, which produces nitrogen. This nitrogen is then used to reduce oxygen levels in the protected area to a point where fire cannot start or spread. The N2 generator ensures a continuous supply of nitrogen, maintaining a safe and stable environment. Together with you, we will determine the appropriate generator capacity for your project so that we can offer a customized solution that perfectly meets your specific needs. 

3. Measurement and control systems

The system is equipped with advanced measuring and control equipment that constantly measures and monitors oxygen levels at numerous locations in the protected area. This equipment is crucial for maintaining the correct oxygen concentration and quickly detecting any deviations. The sensors and controllers are designed for high reliability and accuracy, and they can be easily integrated with existing building management systems. Relevant data such as measured oxygen values, operating times, and alarms are clearly displayed and automatically stored in a cloud system with automatic backup.

4. Complete installation + Delivery

Our installation services include everything necessary for the complete and efficient implementation of the oxygen reduction system. This includes the placement of all components, the installation of piping, and the installation of ventilation and cooling systems for the technical room. In addition, we take care of the installation of the N2 generator and the associated compressed air pipes. Our experienced team ensures that the installation runs smoothly and complies with all technical and safety standards.

The installation comes with a complete manual including a risk assessment, emergency plan, and Health & Safety plan. The installation is concluded with an audit by, for example, KIWA to certify compliance with the relevant regulations.

5. ADM + App

The ADM+ app gives users complete control and insight into their fire protection system, wherever they are. With this app, you can view real-time data, receive notifications in the event of deviations or malfunctions, and generate comprehensive reports. The app is user-friendly and designed to help you respond quickly and effectively to any problems. In addition, the ADM+ app supports preventive maintenance and system updates, ensuring that your fire protection system always functions optimally.

6. Maintenance and Service Contracts

Storex has a team of experienced technicians who guarantee professional maintenance and service for all components of your oxygen reduction system. We provide periodic inspections, calibrations, and technical support to ensure the proper functioning of your system. In the event of malfunctions or questions, our specialists are available for remote or on-site support. This way, we help you keep your fire prevention system in good condition.
